Lisa Kolar

Lisa started practicing yoga in 2000, and after several years of experiencing how powerful and life-changing yoga can be, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Blue Banyan Yoga in Philadelphia.
She loves practicing and teaching vinyasa yoga, as it can be a moving meditation, calming and strengthening the mind and the body. She loves to explore fun and creative sequencing in her classes, while always encouraging her students to cultivate awareness and honor their unique selves.
Yoga has helped Lisa navigate life's changes and challenges, and she continues to be inspired by what she learns on the mat everyday. She challenges herself and her students to stay present, be with the breath, and open up to possibility.

Patty Boyle

Growing up an athlete, Patty was initially drawn to the physical aspect of yoga. As she continued to explore her practice, she began to realize how physical challenges can also lead to quieting the mind, slowing the breath and releasing tension. With a B.S. in Kinesiology and Certification in Holistic Health Counseling, becoming a yoga teacher was the perfect next step, complimenting her commitment to health and nutrition. In addition to RYT-250 certification, Patty completed a 50-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Alex Auder. Patty works for Big Brothers Big Sisters and blended her two passions, yoga and empowering youth, when she became certified to teach children’s yoga through Child Light in 2013.

Patty loves sharing her practice with students. She offers gentle assists while exploring the many benefits yoga has to offer. Her classes also include challenging asanas that are sure to encourage you to find your edge!

Robin Daniels

Robin Daniels is a yoga teacher whose dreams and goals are to bring the healing and therapeutic aspects of Hatha Yoga to everyone in her classes. She is licensed at the 500-hour level, and holds well over 1000 hours of training. She believes the power behind a Hatha Yoga practice is that it makes us all better and healthier people in our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the universe in which we live. Her classes combine clear instruction with uplifting tantric philosophy, and a quirky sense of humor. She is known for assisting her students through challenging and good times to achieve breakthroughs on and off the mat. Robin started practicing yoga with her identical twin sister at 16, as the result of an illness, from the perspective of using yoga as a body movement therapy. She is a true testament to the healing powers of yoga. In 2004, Robin took her first Vinyasa Teacher training at Midtown Yoga, now Charm City Yoga, in Baltimore. In September, 2004, she moved to Philadelphia and continued studying Vinyasa Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and Yin Yoga. In 2007, Robin began studying Anusara Yoga, and became Anusara-Inspired. While she no longer holds her license in Anusara, she believes in the power and beauty of proper alignment, and a heart centered practice. She is also certified in Unnata Aerial Yoga, Pilates Mat and Reformer, and Yoga For the Special Child, and values the work she does with children, and adults living with disabilities.
When Robin is not on her yoga mat, she enjoys playing with her daughter, Penelope, reading, spoiling her kitty cat, Belle, and swimming. As a former marine biologist, if she could grow gills, Robin would be found living in the ocean among the fishes.

Blakey Elkhart

Blakey Elkhart, RYT500, C-IAYT

Blakey’s mother took her to her first yoga class in 1987,she never forgot the sense of quiet peace she felt in her very first svasana. Throughout her life she kept returning to her mat and the vedic philosophies that inspire the practice. In 2006, she came back to yoga to deepen her recovery from drug addiction and improve her health. In the last 10 years, the spiritual practices of the 12 steps and yoga have interwoven to create a way of life for her. Through these practices, Blakey has come to believe that the body is a communicator, a barometer and assistant to the spiritual condition. Her teaching is guided by lightheartedness, a down-to-earth attitude, and the hope that students will experience the power and comfort of their own true selves. She has been honored to be grand parented in to the second wave of Yoga Therapists by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

Jordann Ogle

I began my yoga journey in 2014 after years of struggling with a monotonous workout routine. After my very first yoga class, I remember feeling completely refreshed and ready to take on the world! I was immediately hooked, taking over 100 classes in a year, and experiencing my life drastically transform into a love I could have never imagined. Yoga has given me so much more than just the physical workout I initially searched for. I feel strong, happy and confident; something I have never been able to say before. One day at a time, I continue to incorporate all aspects of yoga into my life, on and off the mat. I completed my 200 hour certification through the Amma Center & Studio in October 2015. As a yoga instructor, I aim to encourage students to find their inner source of power and peace through unifying the body and breath to overcome the false limitations of the mind. When I am not on my mat, you can find me crafting, baking, reading, spending time with loved ones, or exploring the beautiful world around us.
This is a moderately paced class and students continue to build awareness, strength, skill and focus.  It is helpful to have a basic understanding of sun salutations, but this is not required to attend the class.  Posture sequences will be linked by vinyasa flow, designed to raise energy in the body while keeping the mind steady. Various hand and arm balances may be offered, however, modifications are offered to make this class accessible to all students.
