Andrea Leombruni

Yoga to me is my Freedom. It is a magic carpet inward and outward. It takes me to places away from the chaos that follows us in our daily lives like the traffic and petty interactions. Ironically, as I begin to move I become still inside. My calm returns as soon as the door shuts; I feel an exhale and I am free to guide myself into my own moving meditation. My Practice has become a Journey to reflect; not perfection, but a vision of the truth in the yoga process. Yoga has changed my life to become something so much more then I thought it would ever be. As a teacher I try to express to my students to see every moment; even if we didn’t get the pose today we are successful. The power of trying, re-trying, and continuing to try is more successful than if everything was easily attained. It is our will, our souls, that drive us to be successful. It gets us on our mats early in the morning when we can sleep in. It gets us in our cars after work and cooking dinner so we can come together and share with each other something that makes us better humans. Yoga to me is beautiful. It's breathtaking. It's empowering. It's my Freedom. It's my Magic.

Douglas Whitmire

Douglas' love of human movement at an early age inspired him to pursue education and work in human evolutionary biology. After working in the field of anatomy research, Douglas felt compelled to explore alternative anatomy-centered philosophies in a systematic way, leading him to study under Dr. Lisa Mitchell at Dana Hot Yoga. Through his 200 Hour yoga teacher training at Dana Hot Yoga and with the support of the tAra Yoga community, Douglas has been awakened to the intricate and powerful connections between the body, breath, and mind that yoga creates. His understanding of human variation drives his belief that yoga practice should be highly personal with no concept of the "perfect pose". Driven by this belief, he works to create dynamic yet accessible classes for all those seeking strength and peace within their bodies.

Laurie Trefaller

I began my yoga journey in 2015 immediately fell in love with the practice, diving deep in to the practice and completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher training within that first year under Dr. Lisa Mitchell at Dana Hot Yoga in Spring 2016. I found such peace, calmness, and overall wholeness through yoga and love sharing this passion of yoga to others. In my classes, I encourage students to embrace their internal strengths and find a better understanding of the self through the mind, body, and spirit connection; also helping students find the benefits of practicing yoga both on and off the mat. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, friends, and traveling the world!

Tara Roulis

Tara is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. She completed her 200 hour teacher training at Dana Hot Yoga in Bala Cynwyd, PA and continues to further her education with world renowned teachers such as Seane Corn, Sri Dharma Mittra and Kathryn Budig whenever possible. Tara works to make her classes challenging, fun and inspiring; but her biggest goal is making yoga accessible to people of all experience levels and backgrounds. Yoga has helped Tara to find some serenity in her crazy life as a single mom of two small children and a business owner and she is passionate about sharing that with others. She has her BS in Accounting from Penn State and when she's not working or practicing yoga you can find her spending time with friends, cooking, or playing with her kids. Patty Boyle

Growing up an athlete, Patty was initially drawn to the physical aspect of yoga. As she continued to explore her practice, she began to realize how physical challenges can also lead to quieting the mind, slowing the breath and releasing tension. With a B.S. in Kinesiology and Certification in Holistic Health Counseling, becoming a yoga teacher was the perfect next step, complimenting her commitment to health and nutrition. In addition to RYT-250 certification, Patty completed a 50-hour Advanced Teacher Training with Alex Auder. Patty works for Big Brothers Big Sisters and blended her two passions, yoga and empowering youth, when she became certified to teach children’s yoga through Child Light in 2013.

Patty loves sharing her practice with students. She offers gentle assists while exploring the many benefits yoga has to offer. Her classes also include challenging asanas that are sure to encourage you to find your edge!

Lisa Kolar

Lisa started practicing yoga in 2000, and after several years of experiencing how powerful and life-changing yoga can be, she completed her 200-hour teacher training at Blue Banyan Yoga in Philadelphia.
She loves practicing and teaching vinyasa yoga, as it can be a moving meditation, calming and strengthening the mind and the body. She loves to explore fun and creative sequencing in her classes, while always encouraging her students to cultivate awareness and honor their unique selves.
Yoga has helped Lisa navigate life's changes and challenges, and she continues to be inspired by what she learns on the mat everyday. She challenges herself and her students to stay present, be with the breath, and open up to possibility.
This is a moderately paced class and students continue to build awareness, strength, skill and focus.  It is helpful to have a basic understanding of sun salutations, but this is not required to attend the class.  Posture sequences will be linked by vinyasa flow, designed to raise energy in the body while keeping the mind steady. Various hand and arm balances may be offered, however, modifications are offered to make this class accessible to all students.
