Elise came to yoga in search of a complement to her existing fitness regimen, but what she found was so much more. In yoga, Elise has found a physical challenge as well as an unexpected sanctuary rooted in an ancient practice. Yoga has played a transformative role for her; contributing to a major weight loss, healthier overall life style and a rewarding career path that invites compassion, self-study, and continuing education into everyday life.
As a graduate of the 2014 Dana Hot Yoga 200-hr Teacher Training program, Elise believes in a fiery, Yang, Vinyasa practice that is challenging both physically and mentally. As a teacher, she will help you push yourself past your own mental limits, while respecting the anatomical uniqueness of your body. Inviting deeper inquiry into silence, anatomy and the physical and energetic benefits of a Yin practice, Elise completed a Yin Yoga Training at Wake Up Yoga in January 2016. She continues to strive for the delicate balance of Yin & Yang.
